Use it on a TV
The Mandala has a TV mode: big words a room can read, a start screen, controls that hide, and a TV remote works. Here's how to get it onto the screen.
The quickest way
On the TV's own web browser, go to ayeandaye.com/tv. It opens straight into TV mode. Press OK on the remote to begin.
From a laptop or phone
Chromecast or Google TV
In Chrome on a laptop, open the Mandala, then the ⋮ menu → Cast… → pick your TV. On Android, use Cast screen from the quick settings.
Apple TV or AirPlay TVs
On an iPhone or iPad, open the Control Centre → Screen Mirroring → pick your TV. On a Mac, use Screen Mirroring in the menu bar.
A cable
Plug a laptop into the TV with an HDMI lead. Open the Mandala, press TV, then F for full screen.
Remote and keyboard
- OK or Enter: begin.
- Up and down: faster or slower breathing.
- Left and right: change the shape.
- C: change the colours. S: settings. F: full screen.
For a group
- Pick the settings, then ⚙ → Copy a link to these settings. Open that link on the TV and it starts the same way every time.
- The start screen shows a code people can scan to take the same settings home on their phone.
- Sound comes from the TV. The sea or the drone carries well in a room; the breath tones can be turned off in ⚙.
